The Inkwell Rental Package
One package, one optional upgrade — we like to keep it simple.
The Standard Gathering Package covers most events beautifully, and if you need seating for a bigger crowd, the $125 Large Gathering Upgrade is there. Whether it's an intimate celebration or a full day of festivities, you'll have the time and space to make it yours.
Not sure which way to go? The standard package seats 64. If your list is running longer, add the $125 upgrade to a full day and we'll seat up to 100. The occupancy number posted in the building is a fire-code limit for the room, not a promise of seating for that many — happy to talk it through if you're on the fence.
Our Layout
STANDARD GATHERING PACKAGE
Our Standard Gathering Package suits showers, birthday parties, meetings, and similar gatherings, seating up to 64 guests. Choose a half-day or full-day rental, with optional add-ons to make it fit your event. All the charm of The Inkwell, sized to your moment.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
- The main event space (2,000+ sq ft) and the Back Prep Area
- Tables and chairs, with basic setup
- Seating for up to 64 — eight round tables with eight chairs each, plus three long rectangular tables
- Restrooms for your guests
- Trash service, with cans and liners provided
- Lighting and climate control
- Standard cleaning after your event
- Flexible layout options
- ADA accessible
A few areas stay ours: behind the front bar, the office, the basement, staff-only spaces, and the upstairs residence with its entrance and stairs. We may pop in during your event to check on the building or restock — that's not the same as having staff on hand to run things.
Rates don't include sales tax, which is added to your final invoice.

ADD-ONS
Our projectors and speakers, with a blank wall as your screen. Great for slideshows, presentations, pictures, and background music — it isn't a DJ rig or a live-performance setup. We'll send setup instructions ahead of time and keep a copy here, and we just ask that you take care of the gear.
For full-day rentals. Adds two more round tables and extra chairs — ten round tables, seating up to 100 — with your three rectangular tables still included. A cozier layout at that size, but it works beautifully.
The upgrade adds furniture, not extra rooms, time, or staffing.
A $55 flat fee covers tablecloths for every table in your layout, in ivory or black, when they're available. The fee is the same whether or not you add the Large Gathering Upgrade. We can't put the same color on two events in one day, so we'll confirm your color when we approve the add-on.
Need a little more time? Just ask. We'll always try, though we can't promise it — it depends on what else is on the calendar that day. If we can make it work, we'll confirm in writing beforehand, and extra hours are $35/hour on weekdays and $45/hour on weekends.
One thing worth planning around: setup, your event, and cleanup all happen inside your booked window, so give yourself a little buffer when you pick your times.
